About Gulf Marine of Clearwater
Gulf Marine of Clearwater is a family-run shop on Palmetto Street — Charlie and his son Nicky have been fitting and selling boat trailers to Pinellas County boaters for years. They stock trailers in a range of sizes and spec each one to the hull before it leaves the yard.
The shop handles more than trailer sales. Bring your boat in and they'll adjust an existing trailer to fit correctly, replace worn running gear, source hard-to-find fitment hardware, and service your outboard on the same visit. If you bought a trailer somewhere else and it doesn't sit right, they'll fix that too.
Because they work on trailers every day, they catch what a general shop misses — bunk angles that load the hull wrong, corroded U-bolts that look fine until the highway, bearing seals that passed their service interval three ramp trips ago.
